Altec AT200AV

The Altec AT200AV telescopic aerial device gives you a dynamic hydraulic system, superb rotation and ideal outlet placement. It has a hydraulically extended boom and a two-stage telescopic, non-insulated aerial device, and you can start or stop the engine from both the upper and lower controls.

We recommend the wheel chock and fall protection system for improved safety. The platform is easy to step into from the ground, and the truck has a low life-cycle cost and a low travel height. Altec aerial devices meet or exceed all applicable ANSI standards as of the date of manufacture.

Our trucks come with all the safety equipment you need, and we provide professional supervision to keep everyone on the job safe, at hourly, daily and weekly rates.

Versalift on a Ford Transit 350

Our Versalift bucket van is built on a Ford Transit 350. It's the van at the top of our home page. When the bucket rests on the back of the van, the working height is about 10.2 ft, and the bucket can dip to about 9 ft for low work.

Working height vs. bucket floor height

Bucket trucks are usually rated two ways. Bucket floor height is how high the floor of the bucket rises. Working height adds about 5 ft for a person's reach, so it's how high someone standing in the bucket can comfortably work.

Our trucks raise the bucket floor to about 28 ft, for a working height of up to 33 ft. For low work, the bucket can come down to a working height of about 9 ft.

Working near power lines? Our Altec is non-insulated, so it isn't rated for work on or near energized lines. Tell us about overhead wires when you book and we'll plan the job with you.
