Booking and payment
Do I have to pick up the truck?
No. We come to you. Our operator drives the truck to your job, runs the bucket and drives it away when you're done, so there's nothing to pick up, tow or return.
How do I reserve the bucket truck?
Send us the booking form or call (516) 223-3248. A reservation specialist calls you back to confirm the date, time and job details.
Do I need a credit card to hold my reservation?
Yes. We place a $250 deposit hold on a credit card to confirm your booking. We take card details over the phone, never through the website.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Call (516) 223-3248 at least 48 hours before your reservation and have the reference number from your confirmation email ready. Cancelling with less than 48 hours' notice costs a $150 daily cancellation fee. Refunds go back to the original card, usually within about 7 business days.
Can I change how long I have the truck?
Yes. Call us as early as you can and we'll extend or shorten your booking if the truck's schedule allows.
The trucks
What kind of bucket trucks do you have?
Telescopic bucket trucks from Altec and Versalift. They reach a working height of up to 33 ft, with the bucket floor at about 28 ft, and can work as low as about 9 ft.
What's the difference between working height and bucket floor height?
Bucket floor height is how high the floor of the bucket rises. Working height adds about 5 ft for a person's reach, so it's how high someone standing in the bucket can comfortably work.
Does an operator come with the truck?
Yes. Every rental is fully supervised. We send a trained operator with the truck, along with all the safety equipment.
Can the truck work near power lines?
Our Altec is a non-insulated unit, so it isn't rated for work on or near energized lines. Tell us about any overhead wires when you book and we'll plan the job with you.

Can you do the electrical work too?
Yes. We're licensed electricians, part of Al-lectric Electrical Contracting, so we can do the electrical work as well as the lift. That covers lighting and signs and many other electrical jobs. Tell us what you need when you book.
Why hire a bucket truck instead of using ladders or scaffolding?
A bucket truck gets you to high work faster and more safely, with a stable platform and room for tools. You don't buy, store or maintain any equipment, and our operator handles setup.
What areas do you cover?
All five boroughs of New York City and Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island. We also take jobs in Westchester and Rockland counties, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. We're based in Farmingdale.
